Project: Chata Biosystems
Description
This major supplier of reagents, buffers and dissolution media to biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies contacted SG Water USA for their water purification needs for expansion of their process manufacturing. Working directly with the production manager, QA and product managers to determine the requirements, a central RO/DI water treatment system was designed to meet USP Pharmaceutical standards for ASTM Type 1-A water. The turnkey system was installed by SG with high purity polypropylene piping plumbed to multiple batch tanks in a class 10,000 clean room. The complete system was USP certified to meet Chata's stringent quality control requirements for their cGMP manufacturing protocols.

The SG Water system provides make up water for multiple batch process manufacturing.

Project: Concord Hospital - Concord, NH
Description
Installation of a complete central water treatment system included a 2,000 gallon per day RO/DI reverse osmosis deionization system with multiple tanks and pumps. This low maintenance design provides all of the water purification needs for sterile processing and the laboratories in this major hospital. Combining water purification for two departments optimized the money budgeted for expansion and reduced yearly operational costs.

Sterilizers and washers used in sterile processing. Laboratory instruments include blood chemistry analyzers, auto-stainers and washers.

Project: University
Description
A major renovation of the physics building and labs required a new state-of-the-art water purification system. Installation of the complete central water treatment system included a 2,500 gallon per day RO/DI reverse osmosis deionization system plumbed throughout the building. The system provided all of the pure water needs for the building housing 32 labs with a staff of 38 researchers. Five point-of-use polishing systems for ASTM Type 1 water applications were also installed as part of the project.

Project: Industrial - Dispersion Services, Nashua, NH
Description
This manufacturing and consulting company in the coatings industry was purchasing pure water (by the gallon) required in their water based coatings batch process manufacturing. The costs including handling and storage became an issue as the business grew. After consulting with SG Water USA, a turn-key system based on their needs and processes, was designed. A complete, central Reverse Osmosis water system with tank and pump was installed. This system eliminated the costs and problems associated with buying water by the gallon. The ROI time for the SG system was very quick. The system, in operation since 2005, provides all of their water needs from small pilot scale development to large-scale production size batches.
